Referencing
Harvard Referencing
Referencing your work should follow the Harvard referencing Standard, detailed here...
Wiki Referencing Helper
If you've written any information on this site, please request for your book or otherwise reference to be added to the Autonomy reference list. Three examples have been provided to illustrate what information is required in your request...
references = { "AIMA": "%s and %s (2003)."%(authors["Russell"], authors["Norvig"])+ " ''[%s Artificial Intelligence, A Modern Approach]'' (2nd ed.)."%urlBook["AIMA"]+ " New Jersey, Pearson Education International", "RLI": "%s and %s (1998)."%(authors["Sutton"], authors["Barto"])+ " ''[%s Reinforcement Learning, An Introduction]''."%urlBook["RLI"]+ " Cambridge, [http://mitpress.mit.edu/0262193981 MIT Press]", "MIT-MCS": "Meyer, A. and Nagpal, R. (2002)."+ " ''[%s Mathematics for Computer Science]''."%urlBook["MIT-MCS"]+ " MIT !OpenCourseWare", }
You can go ahead and reference your book before the reference list is updated, and there's no need for any further action to be taken once you do this.
To make a reference, you simply come up with a reasonable acronym for your book, and under the references section of the page, add a similar block to the following example...
* [[Reference(RLI)]] //. Referencing an entire book * [[Reference(AIMA|Chapter 20.5: Neural Networks)]] //. Referencing a specific region of a book
...which will produce...
Sutton, R.S. and Barto, A.G. (1998). Reinforcement Learning, An Introduction. Cambridge, MIT Press
Russell, S. and Norvig, P. (2003). Artificial Intelligence, A Modern Approach (2nd ed.). New Jersey, Pearson Education International. Chapter 20.5: Neural Networks
The acronym (AIMA in the example above) of your book needs to be unique, but if it is not, don't worry, the site admins will make appropriate changes. You can optionally add a pipe (|) character after the acronym followed by details about which section of the book you'd like to reference, as the example above demonstrates.
Depending on how much you love the book, you can also ask for it to be added to the Amazon.com list for others...
