Embodied Environments
The agents have bodies, i.e. they are robots with a physical body. Their actions are part of a dynamics with the world, and the actions of the agents have immediate feedback on the robots' own sensations.
Examples

- An industrial spray-painting robot
- Does not perceive any aspects of the shape of an object presented to it for painting
- Simply performs a series of actions based on a set of pre-defined programmed functions.
- It has physical extent and its servo routines must correct for its interactions with gravity and noise present in the environment.
